More information about Oha Star Dance Dance Revolution
(Some information sourced from ReMyWiki and DDR Freak two fantastic sources for Bemani information. Other information has been sourced directly from my own collection.)
General Information
- Oha Star DanceDanceRevolution features songs from the Japanese kids' program Oha Star, along with four KONAMI original songs (3 old, 1 new).
- Interface taken from DanceDanceRevolution 3rdMIX, including lyrics for most of the Oha Star songs, with a few exceptions:
- The difficulty names are different from the main DanceDanceRevolution titles: ROOKIE (1), STUDENT (2), IDOL (3), STAR (4), HERO (5), SUPER HERO (6), MASTER (7), GENIUS (8)
- The highest letter grade achievable is SS, even if a Perfect Full Combo is achieved.
- Only BASIC difficulty is available for Double play in both Easy and Normal Modes.
- All songs are available for play in Game Mode, except for WHY!~THE ZONA'S SONG~, which only appears during the FINAL STAGE.
- Oha Star DanceDanceRevolution features 12 selectable dancers: RAGE, EMI, ASTRO, CHARMY, KONSENTO:03, DEVIL-ZUKIN, AFRO, LADY, DISK:A, DISK:B, KONSENTO:01 and OSHARE-ZUKIN.
Oha Collection
- A collection of 64 cards of varying rarity (ranging from 1 to 4 stars) that can be drawn in Get the Card mode.
- Categories of these cards are SPECIAL, PHOTO, MESSAGE, ZONA, BG, CHARACTER, PLAYING, and OPENING.
Get The Card
- Use your Draw Count accumulated by clearing songs to draw a random card of the Oha Collection. It is possible to draw a duplicate of a previously drawn card.
- How much Draw Count received by each player depends on the letter grade received for each song:
- SS: +6
- S: +5
- A: +4
- B: +3
- C: +2
- D: +1
- E: +0
Welcome to compare mode, this displays all songs in both games (as well as unlocks and DLC).
If a song appears in both games it is coloured ORANGE.
The songs that appear only in Oha Star Dance Dance Revolution are BLUE.
The songs that appear only in Dancing Stage Fusion are PURPLE.
