- From September 10th, 2015 onwards, DanceDanceRevolution S is officially discontinued by KONAMI.

General Information / Changes
- The interface and logo are based on DanceDanceRevolution X.
- The game includes three new KONAMI originals, the rest are returning songs from arcade and CS releases.
- DanceDanceRevolution S features STANDARD and COURSE MODEs along with SHAKE MODE, a new mode which uses the device's accelerometers for play.
- SHAKE MODE only has one song: Lesson by DJ.
- SHAKE MODE is not available in any version other than the iOS one.
- Character roster: EMI, AFRO, BONNIE, RAGE, Louis-CONCENT III, YUNI, RUBY, JULIO, QUEEN-ZUKIN, ALICE, JENNY, ZERO, BABY-LON, GUS
- A free version was also released under the name DanceDanceRevolution S Lite with only one song in it, -Flowers-.
- No songs have CHALLENGE charts, even those that had them originally.
- MARVELOUS and PERFECT are worth the same amount of score.
