Dance Dance Revolution/Dancing Stage Consumer Software (CS) Master Song List
This list is not affiliated with Konami or any DDR/DS properties. It is purely for reference as these games get harder to find.
This list is only showing games I personally own, therefore it is not a complete list at this stage as I am still aquiring games I'm missing.
(Some information sourced from ReMyWiki and DDR Freak two fantastic sources for Bemani information. Other information has been sourced directly from my own collection.)
General Information / Changes
Final DanceDanceRevolution game for the Nintendo Wii.
Known as DanceDanceRevolution hottest party5 in the European regions.
Song list is comprised of (most) the arcade DanceDanceRevolution X2 KONAMI originals and new CS songs.
Most of the CS originals later appeared in DanceDanceRevolution X3 VS 2ndMIX.
As ΔMAX's CHALLENGE charts, I'm so Happy, and Theory of Eternity never appeared on Western releases of the arcade release of DanceDanceRevolution X2 (due to the releases lacking e-AMUSEMENT), this is also their Western debut.
First and only DanceDanceRevolution Wii game with Double charts.
Double charts were only avaiable for the short versions of the KONAMI originals and the full versions of licenses.
It's also the first and only DanceDanceRevolution Wii game with CHALLENGE charts. However, CHALLENGE charts with Shock Arrows were not carried over to this game.
First and only DanceDanceRevolution Wii game with long versions.
First and only American DanceDanceRevolution Wii game with multi-language support.
Choreograph Mode and Wii Balance Board Mode have been removed.
Dedicated dance routines are removed, with the obligatory exceptions of the 3 returning lesson songs.
The usual cast of dancers from the HOTTEST PARTY series (except Rena, NAOKI, jun and U1) have been removed in exchange for a small selection of the DanceDanceRevolution X2 characters.
Back-up dancers are replaced with shadows of the selected dancer, due to Wii memory limitations.
Songs with unique videos are shown in tiny monitors on the left/right side of the player, depending on which position they're in, due to Wii memory limitations.
If playing on Double/VERSUS, it appears in the center in the background.
With 83 songs (not including the long versions/different versions of London EVOLVED), DanceDanceRevolution II has the largest on-disc songlist of any North American/European console DanceDanceRevolution title, and the third largest of any console DanceDanceRevolution title, only behind Japanese SuperNOVA's 84 and the Japanese version of DanceDanceRevolution EXTREME's 111.
Total songs: 83 (not including the long versions/different versions of London EVOLVED)
